This is a rich color with enough intensity to hold it's own in any combination of colors and still be outstanding. There wasn't always "denim". Nope- before that, there was blue-violet. Every pair of jeans I colored in grade school was that gorgeous shade of in-between. Blue-violet means back-to-school shopping for the jeans I wore nearly every day in that shade. Blue violet is rich and peaceful and I never tire of seeing it. Nature is full of this color which is also very appealing to me.
