I loved drawing my house. It was my favorite color, because our little house in Pittsburgh, Pa. was brick colored. It brings fond memories. I always loved the simplicity and uniqueness of this color. It was always the crayon I looked after most (but I always hid the black)! Brick red is my preferred choice for the fancy dresses and jacket of the characters in coloring books. It stands out so much better than any pink.
