I liked brick red as a child because I knew that objects in the real world came in more than the basic colors, and brick red represented my ability to see that. I was very proud of the trees I colored with brick red and enhanced by adding different hues of brown. This is another one that I have liked since I was young. I liked to color pictures of houses, and always made them brick with the brick red crayon.
