This color reminds me of the sunsets at Lake Powell in Utah. It is a very special place for my family. We rent a houseboat every year there for a week. My husband and I love to sit on top of the houseboat and watch the sun go down. Orange was my mom's favorite color. Now, every time I see burnt orange it reminds me of the carnival glass my mom collected, the tulips and day lillies in our backyard, the silk flowers in her bedroom . . . I remember my mom. I went to the University of Texas, whose colors are burnt orange and white, so I had to vote for burnt orange!
