It is dramatic and I always thought it sounded so cool..."burnt sienna", what a great description.

Burnt sienna and raw umber (that was an old color, too, I think) remind me of a covered bridge in Vermont, the old barn woods, once painted red and faded into a glorious rich, burnished brown hue.

The burnt sienna reminds me of my life in Navada and the different shades of brown and sage green. When I was in 9th grade I painted a watercolor using burnt sienna and other desert colors and my art teacher recognized my love of art.
