I just love the bright look of the color cerise. It makes any picture stand out. It is bold and exciting. Whenever I color with my kids, they ask why I always use this color in everything. I tell
them it is because it is the color of royalty and makes my picture seem more "regal" to me. In the middle of a Vermont cow pasture - the sudden shock of a group of wildfowers reminds me of the joys of standing out in life just to be noticed! Pink and red are some of my favorite colors. Cerise is a good blend of those two. It has the added benefit of being the French word for 'cherry' which is my favorite fruit.
