It's blue in disguise. No one thinks anything blue could have anything to do with corn. I like being pleasantly surprised by something so blue. Cornflower reminds me of a clear sky up in the Oregon mountains beside the Applegate River. I selected cornflower for my 3rd choice because I have some cornflowers planted in my garden, along with black-eyed susans. I am a novice at flower planting, but have enjoyed the beautiful colors they provide.
