This color brings back memories of my childhood, when we went to the local carnival. I always got cotton candy. It melted in my mouth, just like pure sugar. This is a comfort color for me. The name and the color evoke memories of my youth when I used to go to the local park to swim, see the animals in the zoo, and head for the cotton candy booth where, to my amazement, a vendor would spin me a web of pink sweet fluff like magic before my eyes. It gave me twice the pleasure to then provide that experience for my daughter 30 years later. "Cotton candy" is a fun, spirited color that reminds me of carefree days spent at fairs, carnivals, and amusement parks. Yet it's soft enough to enjoy day after day, no matter what mood I may be in.
