I remember that as a child, this color was always my choice for anything "yellow." It was in my mind, 'just right.' Goldenrod is the color of sunflowers and the ever changing color of autumn leaves. Goldenrod reminds me of the goldenrods that bloomed in late summer in the field by my grandparent's house. Also it's one of the original colors.
