I labeled crayons during the summer in college. I always labeled the greens and jungle green, they were my favorite. It's such a pretty color. Jungle green holds a special place in my heart because, as a young child, I always wanted to use that color because I thought it was cool. I choose jungle green on behalf of my first-grade students. My 1999-2000 class just loved that jungle green. One of the students had brought it from home, and it circulated throughout our room all year. It didn't seem to bother them that it kept getting smaller and smaller. I had never heard of jungle green until it showed up in my room. It will always remind me of Kyle D., who loved it the most.
