It wasn't until recently that I really, really enjoyed this color a lot. When I was a little girl, my grandmother bought me a purple doll lamp (it was the only color they had left), so everyone assumed my favorite color was purple. I got tired of the color real fast, until now. My 2-year-old daughter's first color word was purple. We would go through the box of crayons
and she would pick out every purple. We have a lot of all-purple pictures hanging up in our house now. Purple has always been my favorite color, and this is such a great shade. Bright, without being washed-out. Growing up, violet was probably my favorite color, but the newer shade of purple heart is so deep and rich that it would now be my choice to color everything happy.
