Purple has long been my favorite hue. Royal purple is just the prettiest shade of purple that you can find in a box. It's not too dark and it's not too light, it's just right. Royal purple always reminds me of the story "The Emperor Had No Clothes" because I used to imagine that everyone else was imagining the Emperor in a cape of deep royal purple.
