From my silver crayon grew at my command. I love all things silver. I always have. I even had my wedding rings made out of silver. It is a warm, shiny color that makes me think of nice things. I remember as a child being simply amazed at the shiny quality of a silver crayon. I never had my own, because my mom only believed in buying the box of 24! I always had to borrow a silver crayon from one of my more fortunate friends who's mom bought them the box of 64. Now that I'm all "grown up," I have more crayons than I know what to do with. I would say I'm a collector of sorts. I don't hold anything against my mom for depriving me as a child. I just like to give her a hard time. It's pretty ironic that I would wind up being an art teacher. Anyway, I just love silver - I have accents of it all over my house and in my jewelry box!
