Silver was my favorite color as a child. I now own a silver car, and requested a silver engagement ring from my fiancee. We are now happily married. It is shiny and draws your attention. I think it is a bit classier than gold because it isn't as flashy! It makes nice jewelry, too! I had days that I loved to color realistically. I loved silver because it was true to life - I could make silver bumpers on cars, silver jewerly, and silver stars. I love the way the metallic reflects and gathers the light.
