Why

Your wall hanging will surely catch someone's eye when you use Slick Stix on foil.

Steps

1. Use Crayola Scissors to cut aluminum foil in any shape, or tear it to make an artsy, raggedy edge.
2. Place your foil on recycled newspaper. Gently outline designs in the foil with a Crayola® Erasable Colored Pencil. Use the pencil tip, side, or eraser to create imaginative textures such as bricks or leaves. To emboss your design (make it stand out), draw on the back of the foil.
3. Color your design with slippery smooth Crayola Slick Stix. To lighten a hue, gently wipe away some color with a bit of paper towel right after you add it to your picture.
4. Cut construction paper bigger than your foil art. Attach your art with a Crayola Glue Stick. To hang your greeting on a package or the wall, punch holes in the top. Tie on ribbon.

Safety Guidelines

Scissors—ATTENTION: The cutting edges of scissors are sharp and care should be taken whenever cutting or handling. Blunt-tip scissors should be used only by children 4 years and older. Pointed-tip scissors should be used only by children 6 years and older.

String-Like Materials—Includes string, raffia, lacing, yarn, ribbon, and other similar material. Children 3 years and younger should not be given any string-like material that is longer than 12 inches. Close adult supervision is essential whenever children use string-like material. When crafts are to be worn around the necks of children 8 years and younger, attach the ends of the “string-like material” with clear adhesive tape, which allows easy release of the bond if the craft becomes entangled or caught on equipment. For children older than 8 years, the ends of the “string-like material” may be tied and knotted.
