Why

Which stuff is yours? Get ready for school, camp, or travel with colorful rainbow-look labels! Just draw, peel, and stick!

Steps

  1. 1. What you would like to label? Pencil box, folder, book, lunch, or a collection? Check with an adult to make sure it’s OK to label your items.
  2. 2. Use Crayola Rainbow Twistables® to outline cool shapes on white, self-adhesive, matte paper. Decorate the shape and write your name inside. Cut out your labels with Crayola Scissors.
  3. 3. Peel the adhesive backing from the label. Place it on your stuff.

When & Where

"We label photographs to help us remember when and where the picture was taken."
- Julio S., parent of ages 6 and 10.

"Our kids each chose a label shape. We can tell who school folders belong to at a glance."
- Edward J., parent of ages 7, 9, and 12.

Interesting Info

The first colorful printed paper labels are already antiques! In the 1880s, lithographed labels were used on boxes of fruit, vegetables, and cigars. Self-adhesive labels were introduced in the 1930s.
