Hang up your easy-to-make torn-paper mini-banner. Welcome a new season, holiday, or any festive time!
"For our end-of-year project, children made big suns and ice cream cones."
- Charissa P., preschool craft volunteer.
"This was an easy holiday gift for my boys to make for their grandparents. Tearing paper is always fun!"
- Carrie B., mother of ages 3 and 7.
The first day of fall is called the Autumnal Equinox. On September 22nd there are 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness.
Adult Assistance is required for this arts & crafts project.
Color Wonder™—Wash hands well with soap and water after use.
String-Like Materials—Includes string, raffia, lacing, yarn, ribbon, and other similar material. Children 3 years and younger should not be given any string-like material that is longer than 12 inches. Close adult supervision is essential whenever children use string-like material. When crafts are to be worn around the necks of children 8 years and younger, attach the ends of the “string-like material” with clear adhesive tape, which allows easy release of the bond if the craft becomes entangled or caught on equipment. For children older than 8 years, the ends of the “string-like material” may be tied and knotted.
