Why

Mark any festive time—birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or any day---with glittery hand-printed cards. Personalized greetings are great!

Steps

1. Friends and family love to receive handmade cards! Print your own sparkling cards for any occasion. Fold construction paper to make card. Consider the event, person, and season to decide on a design.
2. To make a printing stamp, etch your design on a foam produce tray with the wooden end of a Crayola® Paint Brush. Remember, your design will print backwards. Cut out the stamp with Crayola Scissors.
3. Cover your craft area with recycled newspaper. In a produce tray, pour a little Crayola Washable Kid’s Paint. Brush paint on the stamp. Firmly press the stamp on the card and quickly remove. Make other print impressions. If you change colors, wipe the stamp first with a paper towel. Air-dry the card.
4. Add your message and colorful designs with Crayola Fine Line and Gel Markers. Use Crayola Glitter Glue for festive finishing touches. Air-dry the glue.

Did you know that loose glitter is a safety hazard? The small cut pieces can get into eyes and scratch corneas. Loose glitter also poses a respiratory threat. Crayola Glitter Glue is safe and a lot easier to clean up!

Recycled Foam Produce Trays—Wash in hot, soapy water. No meat or poultry trays should be used.

Scissors—ATTENTION: The cutting edges of scissors are sharp and care should be taken whenever cutting or handling. Blunt-tip scissors should be used only by children 4 years and older. Pointed-tip scissors should be used only by children 6 years and older.
