Why
Let your imagination go free with cool lines and designs.
Steps
- 1. Doodling is a fun way to make interesting designs. When you doodle on Crayola Color Explosion™ Paper, you’ll have a unique work of art!
- 2. Start doodling anywhere on the sheet with the color-reveal marker. Maybe make a swirl, a shape, or even an interesting line! Then add something that looks neat near it. Leave thin black areas between the doodles so that they show up well.
- 3. Keep making lines and designs until your page is almost filled with doodles.
When & Where
"This activity is adaptable for kids of all ages—including me! "
- Lisa K., grandmother of ages 6, 8, and 10.
"All children are willing to doodle. Everybody can be a success with this!"
- Sarah F., after-school caregiver.
Interesting Info
The word doodle was originally used as a noun meaning a fool, but since the 1930s has come to mean scribbling in an absent-minded manner.
