Why

Make colorful plastic eggs even more fun using Model Magic® Fusion™, your imagination, and simple marbling and modeling techniques.

Steps

1. Decorate plastic eggs any way you like with Crayola Model Magic® Fusion™. The bright Fusion colors and textures easily stick to themselves and most surfaces, including the eggs. These are some possibilities to try.
2. Cover eggs with a thin Fusion layer in as many colors as you like. Marble two Fusion colors by kneading them a little bit. Flatten the marbled modeling compound and press it onto a plastic egg. Cover the egg with patches of different marbled color combinations. Be sure to leave the opening free of modeling compound so you can open and close the egg!
3. To make multilayer balls for dotted eggs, roll a small ball. Gently press and release your finger in one spot. Press on a smaller ball of a second color for great color-pop!
4. Roll Fusion bits into thin ribbons. Press on the plastic egg to make swirls and wiggles. Twist a long ribbon around and around the egg for a spiral. Or make multiple colored stripes!
5. Make egg-citing creatures to hide inside the eggs, too. Use your imagination with techniques like these to form real or imaginary creatures: Roll a marbled Fusion ball small enough to fit inside a plastic egg. Roll two small Fusion balls for eyes. Press them onto the bigger ball. Roll two even tinier balls to press onto the small balls. Another tiny ball can be a nose! Roll thin ribbons of Model Magic Fusion for legs, hair, or smiles!
6. Model Magic Fusion dries to the touch overnight and dries completely in 2 to 3 days.
7. Fill a basket of colorful eggs to give as gifts. Make a nest full of creatures to share with friends! Dried pieces can be attached with Crayola School Glue.

Safety Guidelines

Crayola Modeling Materials including Crayola Model Magic®, and Model Magic Fusion™, Crayola Air-Dry Clay, and Crayola Dough—

Keep away from open flames. Do not use to make candleholders, hot plates, trivets, or other similar objects that will be used or placed near fire and other heat sources.
Do not put in an oven, microwave, or kiln.
Do not make into vessels/containers that will hold unpackaged food.
The use of modeling material to make items that look like food is discouraged for children younger than age 5 to avoid their confusion with real food.
Unless sealed with a water-resistant glaze, do not make projects exposed to or immersed in water, such as boats or outdoor bird feeders. They would disintegrate when exposed to moisture.
Crayola Dough—contains gluten (wheat flour) as an ingredient.
Crayola Air-Dry Clay, Crayola Model Magic and Model Magic Fusion are gluten-free. However, they are produced on the same machinery as Crayola Dough which does contain gluten. Although the machines are cleaned prior to the start of each production run, there is a slight possibility that trace amounts of gluten from Crayola Dough may be present in the other modeling compound products.
