Why

Children can use these fluffy boxes for collectibles, as gifts, or for a special place to stash their stuff.

Steps

  1. 1. Spread newspaper over your work area. Paint a small recycled cardboard box and lid with Crayola® Washable Kid's Paint and Paint Brushes. Jewelry or stationery-size boxes work best. Dry.
  2. 2. With Crayola School Glue, attach craft pompoms to the lid to form flowers. Add marker designs if you like. An option can be to color cotton balls with Crayola Washable Markers.

When & Where

"Students placed flower seeds inside their flower-top boxes to give as Mother's Day presents. Now they're asking to grow a garden! "
- Janet C., PTA leader.

"Our garden club made these boxes to thank all the people who donated supplies throughout the year."
- Jermel H., after-school club mentor.
