Why

Kids gobble up this new version of Tic-Tac-Toe. Creating a unique carry-all game board adds a feather to kids' caps.

Steps

  1. 1. Draw a turkey and some feathers on construction paper with Crayola® Crayons. Cut them out with Crayola Scissors.
  2. 2. Draw a tic-tac-toe grid of three rows and three columns of squares in the middle of the turkey. Decorate your turkey with features such as eyes and color the tail feathers with Crayola Washable Markers. With a Crayola Glue Stick, attach the feathers to the turkey.
  3. 3. Shape at least five X and five O game pieces (or any other two shapes) with Crayola Model Magic. Air-dry the pieces.
  4. 4. To make a storage pocket for your pieces, cut a construction paper square about as large as your turkey. Glue two sides and bottom to the back of your turkey. Leave the top open to insert the pieces. You're set to play Turkey Tic-Tac-Toe any time!

When & Where

"Children were delighted not to waste paper to play their favorite game."
- Sunaina G., PTA Earth Day Club advisor.

"Turkey Tic-Tac-Toe is the perfect car game to keep kids entertained. I even have one in my briefcase."
- Elias T., dad of kids ages 5 and 7.

Interesting Info

If you enjoy playing Tic-Tac-Toe, try the opposite form of the game: Toe-Tac-Tic. The object is to NOT get three in a row. First player to get three in a row loses and the other player wins by default.
