Why

Put a tree on your table for holiday dinners. Family members will marvel at your children's Christmas creativity!

Steps

1. Color and decorate a sturdy cardboard base with Crayola® Metallic FX Crayons and Crayola Glitter Glue. You might draw a tree skirt with bright, festive colors, or a snowy field.
2. For your tree trunk, cut construction paper with Crayola Scissors to cover a paper towel tube. Attach paper to the tube with Crayola School Glue.
3. Cut lots of green construction paper strips for tree branches. Decorate strips with metallic crayons, Crayola Washable Markers, and glitter glue. Draw ornaments, tinsel, garlands, and lights. Dry.
4. Coil strips around a crayon so the branches will appear to be hanging. Glue strips to the tree trunk. Layer strips and alternate longer and shorter ones to create a full tree.
5. Cut a yellow or gold paper star with a strip attached. Decorate it with glitter glue or metallic crayons. Glue to the top of your tree. Glue the tree to the cardboard base. Dry.
6. With colored Crayola Model Magic, make festive packages. Glue them under the tree. Dry.
