Why

Achoo! When kids make this holiday tissue-box cover, Santa's on hand with a tissue every time someone sneezes!

Steps

1. Cut recycled file folders with Crayola® Scissors to cover the sides of a square tissue box. Using Crayola Crayons, Crayola Multicultural Markers, and Crayola Glitter Glue, decorate Santa's face. Glue file folders to the tissue box with Crayola School Glue.
2. Design and cut a red cap and coat from construction paper, and glue them in place on the box. Glue cotton balls to the top of Santa's hat and on his face for a beard.
3. Create Santa's sack of toys or other accessories if you like.

St. Nicholas is especially popular in Russia. The feast in honor of St. Nicholas is on December 6. The legend is that Prince Vladimir returned from Constantinople with stories of miracles performed by St. Nicholas. Baboushka is the Russian name for the man who brings children gifts.
