Why

Kids combine colored bits of paper to cover a paper cup with mosaic. Fill the cup with Crayola® art supplies or soil to plant seeds! The best part is it's mess-free!

Steps

  1. 1. Use Crayola Color Wonder Markers to fill a piece of Color Wonder Paper with many different colors.
  2. 2. Tear the colored paper into strips. Tear strips into small pieces.
  3. 3. Use a Crayola Glue Stick to attach paper bits to the outside of a paper cup. Rub the glue stick on the cup and press the paper onto it. Make a mosaic picture or a creative design.
  4. 4. Use your cup to hold your art supplies, or fill it with soil and plant some seeds.

Interesting Info

Mosaic (pronounced mo-ZAY-ik) is the art of arranging pieces of marble, glass, tile, wood, or other materials to create a surface design. In ancient Egypt, furniture and jewelry were decorated with bits of glass and colored stone to make some of the first known mosaic designs.
