Why

Design your own sneakers! Turn outgrown shoes into the latest style after you trace around them with Crayola® Color Wonder™.

Steps

  1. 1. Place a pair of outgrown shoes on Crayola Color Wonder Paper. Trace around each shoe with a Crayola Color Wonder Marker. Take the shoes off of the paper.
  2. 2. Design a new pair of sneakers just the way you'd like them to look! Draw colorful shoe laces or invent a new way to close your shoes. Add wings so you can run fast if you wish. Choose your favorite colors. Create your own unique style!

- Jette H., mother of ages 4 and 7.

"My grandchildren know I bring out the Color Wonder™ when they visit. We made magic slippers and told stories!"
- Maria T., grandmother of six.

Interesting Info

Rubber-soled sneakers are believed to have originated in mid-nineteenth century London. Shoes called "sneaks" had canvas tops and India rubber soles.
