1. Summer passes, and the weather brings many changes. What are your favorite autumn activities? Maybe you enjoy collecting leaves, or picking pumpkins, playing football, or trick-or-treating. Fall brings changing colors, and more time spent indoors during chilly weather.

Interesting Info

Leaves change color in the fall because the green pigment in them (chlorophyll) diminishes when the temperature drops and the days get shorter. The colors that you see in autumn leaves were always there...they were just covered up by the green chlorophyll.
