Why

Decorate for fall with your toddler's help! These Color Wonder™ mosaic pumpkins are perfect for young children.

Steps

  1. 1. Read books about pumpkins. Do pumpkin finger plays. If you can, go to a pumpkin patch to see their colors and shapes.
  2. 2. Cover an entire sheet of Crayola Color Wonder paper with a yellow Crayola Color Wonder marker. Dry.
  3. 3. To create orange, put a layer of red Color Wonder marker on top of the yellow. Dry. Tear the sheet into small pieces.
  4. 4. With Crayola Write Start Colored Pencils, sketch a large pumpkin on white paper. Fill in the outline with the pieces of orange paper. Your pumpkin will look like a mosaic. Attach pieces with Crayola Glue Sticks.
  5. 5. Color in part of another Color Wonder sheet with a green Color Wonder marker. Dry. Tear it into pieces. Create a stem for your pumpkin with the pieces. Put bits of green on the pumpkin, too, for a realistic effect.
