Some kids do craft projects on their own. They draw, cut and glue, sketch, color, illustrate and create cards, spontaneously when they have colorful art tools handy. Children need time to create the images that are in their mind, to respond to an idea or feeling. It might be original craft projects that they invent. The initiative comes from them.
