Birds of a Feather craft

Your children will be flocking to make these decorative bird boxes that let their imaginations fly. Kids create their own unique 'nest' for keepsakes.

  • 1.

    Spread newspaper over your work area. Paint a small recycled cardboard box and lid with Crayola® Washable Kid's Paint and Paint Brushes. Jewelry or stationery-size boxes work best. Dry.

  • 2.

    With Crayola School Glue, glue together pompoms to form a bird on the box lid. An option can be to color cotton balls with Crayola Washable Markers.

  • 3.

    Attach craft feathers, craft eyes, and chenille sticks for wings and feathers.
