Kids draw a surprise behind each door of this calendar. Every day seems like Christmas as they get closer to the holiday.
1.
Use Crayola Scissors to trim off the flap of a recycled file folder.
2.
Use Crayola Metallic FX Crayons to draw a Christmas tree, or some other holiday symbol, on the front. Draw 25 doors to represent the days in December leading up to and including Christmas.
3.
Number the days and decorate the doors with Crayola Washable Markers.
4.
Open the file folder. Use scissors to cut each door on three sides.
5.
Glue a sheet of construction paper to the inside back of the folder with a Crayola Glue Stick. Glue the inside edges of the folder closed on the construction paper.
6.
Inside each door, draw or write a holiday surprise, sentiment, or tradition. Close all the doors.
