Bouncing Monkey
Have you ever wished for a pet monkey? This Color Explosion™ monkey dances and spins, but it’s ever so quiet…and you don’t need to stock up on bananas!
1. Wild designs make great wild animals! Create amazing decorated paper with your Crayola Color Explosion Spinner™! Start by making a dot on the paper with a color-reveal marker. Then follow the directions in the package to decorate several papers with the solution.
2. Which wild animals have you always enjoyed watching or imitating? Use your imagination and your decorated papers to create your own critters. Follow these steps to monkey around!
3. To make a monkey’s head: Use Crayola Total Tools™ Ultimate Cutter™ to cut a large circle, medium-sized circle, and two small circles from your decorated papers. Glue the medium circle in the middle of the large circle. Draw a line across it with the color-reveal marker for the monkey’s mouth. Glue two small circles above the mouth for eyes. Cut the third small circle in half. Glue each half to the top of the head for ears.
4. To make the monkey’s body: Cut out a large oval and a medium oval from your decorated papers. Glue the medium oval on the large oval for the monkey’s tummy. Glue the head to the monkey’s body.
5. To make arms and legs that move and bounce: Cut two hands, two feet, and four long, narrow strips from your wild-designs paper. Fold each strip back and forth like an accordion. Glue a hand or foot to one end of each strip. Glue the other ends to your monkey’s body.
6. Add sparkle: Use the color-reveal marker and Crayola Glitter Glue to add fun details to your monkey! Air-dry your creature before you bounce!
