Bubble Print Pocket Books
This book of pocket pages is just waiting to be filled with your souvenirs, photos, notes, and other treasures.
1. Create colorful designs using the directions for the Bubble Prints craft on Crayola.com. Watch the Crayola.com CreaTiVe Workshop video to see how much fun it is to make these prints! Or you can design paper with other favorite Crayola products such as Markers and Crayons. Either way, design at least 8 sheets of paper for your Bubble Books. Decorate both sides if you like.
2. Cut your designed paper into large, same-sized rectangles. The book in the picture was made with 9-inch (22 cm) x 6-inch (15 cm) pieces.
3. Lay the rectangles with designs face down and with the short edges at top and bottom. Fold the bottoms up 3 inches (7.5 cm) and crease. Glue the sides of the folded flaps to form pockets. Air-dry the glue.
4. Punch three matching holes along the left edge of each page. Stack the pages so the holes line up.
5. Cut ribbon about 12 inches (30 cm) long. Place a Crayola Colored Pencil over the holes. Ask a friend to hold the book. Thread the ribbon down through the top hole, around the pencil, and back down through the hole. Leave one end dangling. Continue to thread the ribbon through the other 2 holes, around the pencil, and back out. Tie the ends together on the back of the book.
6. Add Crayola Glitter Glue accents to the cover and inside pages. Air-dry the glue.
7. Now you are ready to fill your scrapbook pockets with treasures—perhaps photos, ticket stubs, or pressed flowers.
