Can’t-Wait Calendar
Get psyched for any big event with this fun countdown calendar!
1. Use the Crayola Neon Color Explosion® Marker and Paper System to create a colorful 3-D calendar. Keep track of the number of days until school starts, your birthday, a holiday, or some other special occasion.
2. At the top of your paper, add a calendar title. Draw a fun, decorative design around the edge like a frame.
3. Write the number of days you have to wait on your calendar, either in order or jumbled, whichever you prefer.
4. Use your Crayola Cutter to cut out shapes around the numbers, making a flap with each number on it. Fold the shapes back to make your calendar tabs.
5. Turn the paper over. Use self-adhesive foam dots to attach another piece of Neon Color Explosion Paper to the back of your cut-out sheet. Use the same color or pick another bright background color.
6. Turn your calendar over again. With all the flaps open, on the inside pocket areas, write down tasks for each day. You might list school supplies to buy, cards to make, or little celebrations for each day until the event. Decorate inside and around the flaps as much as you wish! With Neon Color Explosion Paper, both sides are brilliant!
7. Every day, open one tab. Before you know it, your big day will come and you will be happily prepared!
