Color Wonder™ Dots & Boxes Game

Why

The longer you play, the more colorful this game becomes! All you need are Crayola Color Wonder™ Fingerpaints and a friend.

Steps

1. What does it take to make a box? Four lines connecting four dots! Here’s a simple game that has many names. What do you call it?

2. Make a game sheet. On Crayola® Color Wonder™ Paper, create a grid of dots with Crayola Color Wonder Fingerpaint. Make sure that the dots are evenly spaced in rows and columns.

3. Choose colors. Each player picks a different fingerpaint color. Mark each color and your initials on another paper if you wish. Decide who plays first.

4. Play the game. The first player draws one line to connect two dots (up and down or across). The next player does the same anywhere on the page. When a player draws a line that forms a box, that player fills in the square with the appropriate color. When you finish, you’ll have a multicolored pattern of boxes filling the page!
