Dancing Wand

Spin like a ballerina! Stomp like a rock star! Fly like a fairy! You can be anything you want to be with your Dancing Wand.

1. As soon as you hear a good beat or flowing melody, do you move with the music? Here's a way to add something special to your dance.

2. Decorate a recycled paper towel roll using Crayola® Gel Markers. Make designs that go all the way around the roll.

3. Tear at least two long strips of colorful crepe paper. Beautify them with markers also.

4. Wrap the ends of the crepe paper around the top of the tube. Attach with masking tape. You're ready to dance!

Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project.

Recycled Cardboard Tubes—Use paper towel tubes, gift-wrap tubes, or long cardboard tubes that can be cut to any length. Health professionals caution against using recycled toilet paper tubes for arts & crafts projects because of the potential fecal contamination.
