Daring Desk Organizer

Why

Let your funky self burst through to design a desk organization system and matching business card. Set your own colorful style!

Steps

1. Decide what you want to keep on your desk. Do you use paperclips? Colored pencils? Thumbtacks? Have business cards to display? Friends’ photos? Motivating messages? Use neon Crayola Model Magic® to make bright desk accessories!

2. Pencil or marker holders. Use the side of a ruler to square balls of modeling compound. Stick a Crayola marker or colored pencil in the cube.

3. Containers. Roll a ball of Model Magic. Use your fingers to hollow out the inside to form a bowl or cylinder. Flatten the bottom. Store thumbtacks, paperclips, or other small items.

4. Card slot. Hollow out a ball of Model Magic to make a shell. Flatten one side. Press cardboard into it to create a slot to hold business cards.

5. Decorations. Flatten strikingly contrasting colors of Model Magic (such as black with neon yellow). With Crayola Scissors, cut thin, irregular strips. Wrap these around, over, and under your desk accessories to create a webby design (are you a web designer?). Air-dry all pieces.

6. Business cards. Be inspired by your desk designs to create your own business card (your business is being soooo you). Cut a file folder into card-size rectangles. With the vibrant colors of cute Crayola Pip Squeaks Markers, decorate your cards.
