Design a Dino Museum
Ever take a trip to a museum to see dinosaurs? Create your own thrilling dino museum exhibit!
1. Dinosaur bones and tracks are displayed in museums in the United States, Canada and many other countries around the world. Now you can design your own display. To make the floor, walls, and ceiling for your museum, create crayon rubbings using Crayola® Crayons on white construction paper. Remove the wrappings from crayons. Lay your paper on textured surfaces and rub with the sides of the crayons.
2. Use Crayola Scissors to cut the crayon rubbings to fit inside a shoe box or similar recycled box and its lid. Attach the rubbings with Crayola School Glue.
3. Place a dinosaur made of interlocking plastic blocks in your museum display. Use Crayola Model Magic to form posts and rope to enclose your exhibit.
4. Construct an archeological site in front of the display by cutting a small piece of cardboard. Create replicas of dinosaur footprints and bones with Crayola Markers or Model Magic.
5. Create signs for your museum with cardboard or construction paper and markers. Add plastic people or make your own out of model magic to complete your display.
Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project.
