Dragonfly Memories Book
Record your party memories, vacation photos, or sleepover fun in style! Have a high-flying time crafting a jazzy dragonfly journal.
1. What will you remember about your party or trip? Laughing with friends? Fun activities you shared? A journal like this one is a great way to capture those special memories!
2. Decorate Crayola Color Surge™ Paper with Color Surge Markers. Draw a free-flying dragonfly or any other design you choose. Add dots, dashes, lines, or swirls to add dimension and accent your drawing. Decorate both sides!
3. Fold the paper in half to create the journal cover. Fold plain paper in half to create the inside pages of your journal. Place pages inside the journal.
4. Punch two holes along the folded edge. Cut ribbon, yarn, or string about 18 inches (46 cm) long. Thread ribbon through the holes and tie a bow to bind the journal pages together.
5. If desired, embellish your journal cover with beads, sequins, or additional ribbon. Fill your journal with pictures, poems, ticket stubs, and other party fun!
Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project.
Small Parts—
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD—Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
Scissors—ATTENTION: The cutting edges of scissors are sharp and care should be taken whenever cutting or handling. Blunt-tip scissors should be used only by children 4 years and older. Pointed-tip scissors should be used only by children 6 years and older.
String-Like Materials—Includes string, raffia, lacing, yarn, ribbon, and other similar material. Children 3 years and younger should not be given any string-like material that is longer than 12 inches. Close adult supervision is essential whenever children use string-like material. When crafts are to be worn around the necks of children 8 years and younger, attach the ends of the “string-like material” with clear adhesive tape, which allows easy release of the bond if the craft becomes entangled or caught on equipment. For children older than 8 years, the ends of the “string-like material” may be tied and knotted.
