Earth Day Every Day

Why

Every day is Earth Day when children remind us to celebrate and protect our home sweet home.

Steps

1. Fold black construction paper in half to create a card. Cut two snips on the center fold, with Crayola Scissors. This creates a "chair" that pops up in the center of the card when it's opened.

2. On another sheet of construction paper, draw the Earth with Crayola Twistables and cut out the drawing. With a Crayola Glue Stick, attach the Earth to the "chair' inside the card.

3. Cut out a large shape from a different color of construction paper and glue to the front of the card.

4. Finish your card with Earth Day, ecology, and environmental drawings and messages.

Safety Guidelines

Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project.

Scissors—ATTENTION: The cutting edges of scissors are sharp and care should be taken whenever cutting or handling. Blunt-tip scissors should be used only by children 4 years and older. Pointed-tip scissors should be used only by children 6 years and older.
