Fairy Fairy Tales
Magic is in the air! Dance with the fairies! Share their tales! But don't speak their names. These imaginary creatures inspire creative storytelling and art.
1. Read several fairy tales. You'll find that magic plays a part in each one. Do you believe in fairies, or wish they existed? Seeing fairies might help, but not everyone has seen fairies, for they are very shy creatures. If they did exist, what kind of tales do you imagine fairies tell each other? Would they be called human tales?
2. With Crayola® Washable Super Tips Markers, draw fairies you imagine. Show where they live and some of their favorite activities.
3. Write an original story about your fairies. Include some of their magic words. But remember---fairies don't like to have their names spoken aloud!
