Favorite Story Bookmark

Why

Celebrate a favorite story by making a bookmark!

Steps

1. With a ruler and Crayola® Colored Pencils, mark recycled file folders into bookmark-sized strips. Cut with Crayola Scissors. Punch a hole at the top.

2. Using Crayola Colored Pencils, draw pictures on both sides of the bookmark that tell the stories in your favorite books. Or draw and write why you like the books.

3. To add pizzazz, use Crayola Glitter Glue to accent your drawings or to create an eye-catching border. Dry thoroughly.

4. Cut several strips of Hallmark® Curl Sheen wrapping paper ribbon and loop through the hole at the top of the bookmark. Tie ribbon in a knot so it hangs like fringe on your bookmark. Or have an adult curl the ribbons with scissors for a fancier look.
