Forest of Leafy Trees Game
Paint some colorful trees using Crayola Color Wonder™ Paints. Then play a color and shape matching game.
1. Do you like to match colors? How about shapes? Paint a picture and then turn it into a matching game!
2. On large Crayola Color Wonder™ Paper, paint the trunk and branches of three trees using Color Wonder Paint. Make each tree a different color and a different shape. One might be a tall, red tree with many branches. Another could be a blue bushy tree. Try a straight yellow tree without any branches. Don’t paint any leaves on these trees.
3. On other Color Wonder™ Paper, paint at least three red leaves, three blue leaves, and three yellow leaves. Make each color a different leaf design. The red ones could be heart-shaped, the blue ones ovals, and the yellow ones narrow. Air-dry the leaves.
4. Tear out the leaves. First, match the leaves to the tree that is the same color. Next try putting a leaf from each of the three colors on each tree. After that make up your own leaf patterns. Use tape to stick leaves to the trees if you like.
