Hands & Foot Angel
Angels signify the true meaning of caring, love, and faithfulness. Create a wonderful, personalized decoration or ornament for someone you love.
1. Do you wonder about angels? Do you think you have a guardian angel? Everyone wonders where angels live and what they really look like. Use your imagination to create an angel for yourself or to give as a gift.
2. Ask someone to trace your clean hands and one bare foot on construction paper with Crayola® Erasable Colored Pencils. Sit down while your foot is being traced so you don't lose your balance. Sometimes it tickles!
3. Cut out your paper hands (angel wings) and foot (angel body) with Crayola Scissors.
4. Use a Crayola Glue Stick to attach the hands to the heel of the foot. Spread them like wings. Color your angel with Crayola Washable Markers.
5. On more paper, draw an angel's head to match the size of its body. Color it with Crayola Multicultural Markers. Draw a face and cut it out. Attach the face to the heel of the foot.
6. Draw, color, and cut out hair, a halo, and a name banner. Glue them to your angel.
7. Give your angel sparkles with Crayola Glitter Glue. Air dry flat.
8. To use your angel as an ornament or package decoration, punch a hole in the top. Thread ribbon through the hole and knot.
Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project. Observe children closely and intervene as necessary to prevent potential safety problems and ensure appropriate use of arts and crafts materials. Some craft items, particularly beads and buttons, are potential choking hazards for young children. Avoid use of such small parts with children younger than 3 years. Craft items such as scissors, push pins and chenille sticks may have sharp points or edges. Avoid use of materials with sharp points by children younger than 4 years. Read all manufacturers' safety warnings before using arts and craft supplies.
Glitter Glue—

Scissors—ATTENTION: The cutting edges of scissors are sharp and care should be taken whenever cutting or handling. Blunt-tip scissors should be used only by children 4 years and older. Pointed-tip scissors should be used only by children 6 years and older.
String-Like Materials—Includes string, raffia, lacing, yarn, ribbon, and other similar material. Children 3 years and younger should not be given any string-like material that is longer than 12 inches. Close adult supervision is essential whenever children use string-like material. When crafts are to be worn around the necks of children 8 years and younger, attach the ends of the “string-like material” with clear adhesive tape, which allows easy release of the bond if the craft becomes entangled or caught on equipment. For children older than 8 years, the ends of the “string-like material” may be tied and knotted.
