Haulin’ Trucks
"Breaker! Breaker! We got ourselves a convoy!" Make your very own shoebox fleet of cargo trucks for loads of fun!
1. Ready to make a truck to call your own? You can make any kind of truck you like with recycled boxes. Use these ideas to get started.
2. Cover your art area with newspaper. Paint a recycled shoebox, cardboard rolls, and/or other small boxes with Crayola® Washable Kid’s Paint and a Paint Brush. Air-dry your truck pieces.
3. Use Crayola Scissors to cut out construction paper or posterboard to make a cab, driver, wheels, bumpers, and any other truck parts.
4. Decorate your truck and its parts with Crayola Gel Markers and Crayola Metallic FX Crayons. Draw your road on posterboard.
5. Use Crayola School Glue to attach the truck’s parts. As soon as the glue air-dries, your truck is ready to roll down the road!
