Here Comes a Train!
Choo! Choo! Chug! Chug! Whiz! What kind of train is coming down YOUR tracks? Fill each car with your favorite things!
1. What kinds of trains do you like to watch? Which electric or wooden trains do you play with? What are your favorite train stories? Create your own railroad memories with these train cars!
2. Use Crayola® Construction Paper™ Crayons and Crayola Multicultural Crayons to draw train cars on paper. They could be hopper cars, engines, cattle cars, tankers—you choose! Fill your cars with people, food, vehicles, or whatever cargo you like.
3. Carefully tear away the paper around the wheels and the tops of the cars. Make several cars so that you can hang them in a border to share with friends! All aboard!
Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project. Observe children closely and intervene as necessary to prevent potential safety problems and ensure appropriate use of arts and crafts materials. Some craft items, particularly beads and buttons, are potential choking hazards for young children. Avoid use of such small parts with children younger than 3 years. Craft items such as scissors, push pins and chenille sticks may have sharp points or edges. Avoid use of materials with sharp points by children younger than 4 years.
