Keepsake Pumpkin Centerpiece
Use your imagination to create a fun and lasting fall holiday table decoration with a realistic-looking foam pumpkin and Crayola Squeezables™ 3-D Paint.
1. Make your own one-of-a-kind centerpiece! Transform a foam pumpkin into a smashing success using any Halloween or Thanksgiving theme you choose! These ideas can get you started.
2. Decorate your pumpkin with Crayola Gel Markers and Squeezables™ 3-D Paint. For smooth color transitions, blend the wet paint with a toothpick. To keep adjacent paint colors from mixing, let the first color air dry before applying the neighboring color. Air-dry the paint.
3. Use craft foam and construction paper to design, decorate, and cut out accents for your centerpiece. Make a witch hat, autumn leaves, or paper turkeys, for example. Decorate the pieces with Squeezables and markers.
4. Add even more 3-D features to your centerpiece with Crayola Model Magic® Fusion™ compound. Create a long witch’s nose, black cat tails, or ears of colorful Indian corn, for example. Fusion sticks to almost anything, including itself! It dries to the touch overnight and air dries completely in 2 to 3 days.
5. To define your accent pieces, line edges with Squeezables. Air-dry the paint. Your pumpkin is ready to take center stage on your Halloween party table or at your Thanksgiving feast.
Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project.
