Leaping Lizards
Creatures of the rain forest are beautifully colored. Children's imaginations soar as they create colorful lizards and other wild creatures.
1. On brightly colored construction paper, use Crayola® Erasable Colored Pencils to sketch the outline of a large lizard, dragon, bird, insect, or other imaginary rainforest creature.
2. Cut out your rainforest animal with Crayola Scissors.
3. Using Crayola Crayons or Washable Markers, color strips of paper in bright colors. Cut the strips into small squares.
4. Arrange the colored squares on your lizard. Choose your own pattern and design to create a mosaic. With Crayola Glue Sticks, attach the pieces.
Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project.
Scissors—ATTENTION: The cutting edges of scissors are sharp and care should be taken whenever cutting or handling. Blunt-tip scissors should be used only by children 4 years and older. Pointed-tip scissors should be used only by children 6 years and older.
