Mini Window View

Why

Children have their own window on the world inside their imaginations. They'll create a unique view with this crayon resist idea.

Steps

1. With Crayola® Crayons on construction paper, draw what you see, or would like to see, when you look out your window. Fill the sky, foreground, and background with heavy color.

2. Spread newspaper over your work area. Paint over the scene with Crayola Watercolors and Watercolor Brushes. The waxy color will pop through the paint. Dry.

3. Draw window frames on another piece of construction paper the same size as the first. Cut out the frames with Crayola Total Tools™ Ultimate Cutter™.

4. With Crayola School Glue, glue the window frames on top of the crayon resist scene. Dry. Enjoy your view!
