My Book Keeper

Why

Where did I put that book? What happened to my magazine? Make your life easier with nifty storage boxes. Coordinate them with your room’s décor or favorite titles!

Steps

1. Every successful student is organized. With these handy, colorful storage boxes, you be both creative AND have your act together.

2. Find a sturdy cardboard box that is large enough to hold your books or magazines. Ask an adult to help you cut the box open with Crayola® Scissors. Cut a curved shape on one side. Use the discarded cardboard to cut a matching shape on the other side.

3. On construction paper, thickly color bold squares or other shapes with Crayola Rainbow Twistables. Explore how the colors change within each square. Try swirls or other designs if you like, watching the rainbow colors change before your eyes! Rub crayon with a paper towel to get a shiny, smooth surface.

4. Cut out your shapes. Attach them to your box with Crayola School Glue like a mosaic. Overlap edges for a unique look. Air-dry the box before you fill it with your stuff. Make Book Keepers with your friends so you’ll all be organized!
